IT IS CEAR THAT THE GENESIS OF THIS AMENDMENT LAY NOT ON INDIVIDUALS OWNING ALL THESE DANGEROUS AND TOTALLY USELESS AUTOMATIC MILITARY STYLE WEAPONS SUPPOSEDLY TO PROTECT ONESELF BUT IN ORGANIZING A MILITIA UNDER THE GUIDANCE OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, TO PROTECT THE FLEDGLING NATION AGAINST THE BRITISH AND THE SPANISH AND THE INDIANS- I FOUND IT FUNNY TO READ THAT THE ORIGINAL CONTROVERSY WAS NOT BECAUSE OF 'RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS' BUT THAT TOO MAY MEN MIGHT BE CALLED AWAY FROM THEIR HEARTH AND HOME TO FULFILL THE DUTIES OF THE MILITIA. .
